
There are no internship openings at this time.
WLSSD supports education by offering internships to students who are:
- enrolled in an accredited college or university or enrolled in a technical college, and in a sufficient number or courses to be classified as a full-time student or the criteria used by the institution in which s/he is enrolled; or
- a person in an off-campus work study program in a proprietary institution or high education as defined in Section 102(b) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
- Less that full time students may be considered for employment.
Internships may be performed by students who have already graduated from a program and are willing to do internships to gain work experience in their field of study.
Internships are regularly offered in the following areas:
- Planning
- Environmental Programs
- Safety and Security
- Wastewater Treatment
- Engineering
- Solid Waste
