Internships

There are no internship openings at this time.

WLSSD supports education by offering internships to students who are:

enrolled in an accredited college or university or enrolled in a technical college, and in a sufficient number or courses to be classified as a full-time student or the criteria used by the institution in which s/he is enrolled; or
a person in an off-campus work study program in a proprietary institution or high education as defined in Section 102(b) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
Less that full time students may be considered for employment.

Internships may be performed by students who have already graduated from a program and are willing to do internships to gain work experience in their field of study.

Internships are regularly offered in the following areas:

Planning
Environmental Programs
Safety and Security
Wastewater Treatment
Engineering
Solid Waste
